Assistant Professor of Animal Husbandry at the department of Animal Science of the Agricultural University of Athens. He received his PhD from the same department in 2000 (thesis title: “Development of body weight, component parts and body tissues, of two broiler strains, from birth to maturity”). He teaches in graduate and post-graduate courses and his research interests are related to growth models, animal products’ quality (eggs and poultry, rabbit and lamb meat) and use of natural antioxidants in animal nutrition. He has presented oral and poster presentations in international scientific conferences and he has 26 scientific articles published in international peer reviewed scientific journals. He has participated in four research projects funded by the European Union and the Greek State.
