Biography

I graduated from the Department of Animal Science and Aquaculture of the Agricultural University of Athens in 2002. After the acquisition of my Master degree in Animal Science in 2003, I started and completed my PhD thesis in 2007 under the supervision of Prof S.G. Deligeorgis (financially supported by the Greek State Scholarship Foundation) concerning “The effects of essential oil dietary supplementation on the feeding behavior and the quality characteristics of the products in ewes and lambs”. From 2006 till 2008, I worked in the Ministry of Rural Development and Food of the Hellenic Republic. After the completion of my military service in 2010, I worked as a lecturer (407/80) and as a researcher in the Laboratory of Animal Breeding and Husbandry in the Agricultural University of Athens.
