Short Biography

Sophia D. Koulocheri is a Teaching & Research Staff (E.DI.P.) member at the Laboratory of Nutritional Physiology and Feeding, Department of Animal Science, Agricultural University of Athens (AUA). She holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Patras, a Diplôme d’Études Approfondies (DEA) from the Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse (France), and a Ph.D. from the Agricultural University of Athens, focusing on the synthesis of azheterocyclic compounds with biological and agricultural interest. She has extensive research and teaching experience in Chemistry, specializing in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Physiology of Nutrition, and Natural Products Chemistry. She has participated in numerous European and national research projects (LIFE+, THALIS, EstroFish) and is the author of over 20 original scientific papers published in international journals. She is a member of the Association of Greek Chemists, holds certifications in analytical techniques (GC-MS, HPLC, LC-MS/MS), and actively engages in community outreach activities.
