TEACHING & RESEARCH STAFF | Chemistry of Synthetic Heterocyclic and Natural Bioactive Compounds

Sofia D. Koulocheri has been a Laboratory Teaching Staff member (E.DI.P.) at the Laboratory of Nutritional Physiology and Feeding, Department of Animal Science, Agricultural University of Athens (AUA) since 2014. She holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Patras (1994), a Diplôme d ’Études Approfondies (DEA) from the Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse, France (1995), and a Ph.D. from the Agricultural University of Athens (2001), focusing on the synthesis of aza-heterocyclic compounds with biological and agricultural interest. She has extensive research and teaching experience in Chemistry, specializing in Synthetic Organic, Analytical, and Natural Products Chemistry. She has participated in numerous European (LIFE+), and national research (EstroFish as Principal Investigator, THALIS, etc) projects and is co-author of over 35 original peer reviewed scientific papers published in international journals. She has experience in laboratory analytical techniques, such as GC-FID, GC-MS, HPLC/DAD, and LC-MS/MS with training certification.
